Next, Ecuador for Mike Williams



The retirement for Advertising Art’s Mike Williams was held Friday in the back room of the Barley House on Main Street in the old O’Neil’s building.

Those who attended included Bob Tigelman, who retired in 2001 as IT (tech) chief; John Vicars of IT; early 2012 retiree Linda Torson and husband Tim Torson; Sue Robinson of Classified; Tonia Lawley, Classified manager who is switching to Special Products and Sections; 2001 Accounting retiree Mickey Dimeff; newsroom retiree Tom Moore and his daughter, Amy Moore; Dennis Fouse, BJ ad artist since the late 1970s who will take over Mike’s digital production duties in Ad Art; Jim Beard, Mike’s IT co-worker for years; Jane Williams, Mike’s wife for 36 years, and the Williams’ neighbors, the Kollers.

Vicars and Jane handled the retirement party planning.

Jane and Mike will be leaving in less than two weeks for the mountains of Ecuador.
