The newspaper massacre just won’t stop.
The Times Press-Recorder, based in Santa Maria,
California, is the latest to go belly-up – after 129 years.
The company also announced the Santa Maria Times would
stop publishing a Monday newspaper next week.
The
number of newspapers per million population has plummeted from 1,800 to 400.
And shrinking almost weekly.
