More than another newspaper death

Since 2007, the Tucson Citizen, Rocky Mountain News, Baltimore Examiner, Kentucky Post, Cincinnati Post, King County Journal, Union City Register-Tribune, Halifax Daily News, Albuquerque Tribune, South Idaho Press, San Juan Star, Honolulu Advertiser and Tampa Tribune have gone belly-up.That’s a dozen once-vibrant newspapers in less than a decade. Including big and small, nearly 1,000 newspapers vanished during that time.
