Derf hacked off
Wild and crazy former BJ cartoonist John
"Derf" Backderf apparently has been hacked out of his Facebook page.
PD consumer
columnist Sheryl Harris, the Ohio State grad who had the same role at the BJ, and is, Heaven save her, married to Derf, posted:
“Can't
find Derf Backderf on Facebook any more? He complained about someone using his
name and art on a bogus page and Facebook froze his account. Sorry for the
rotten advice, honey.”
Where’s
Derf’s friend, Dahmer, when he needs someone to hack up Derf’s hacker?
Richfield native and
Ohio State grad Derf's comic strip, “The City,” first appeared in
The Cleveland Edition in 1990. When that paper folded in 1992, Derf was one
of the founders of the Cleveland Free Times. In 2002, he moved to Cleveland
Scene.
Derf was a staff
artist-cartoonist for the Plain Dealer from 1986-89 and for the Akron
Beacon Journal from 1990-1999.
