Dunphy celebrates 1^st anniversary of surgery

John Dunphy celebrates

Former BJ reporter John Dunphy, who has handled his Stage 3 esophageal cancer with a remarkable attitude, celebrated the first anniversary of his surgery today (Thursday, June 5).

Writes John:

“A year ago today I was lying in a hospital bed after 7 hours of cancer surgery to remove most of my esophagus. Today I celebrate with sautéed scallops and Chardonnay. Life is good. Cherish each day with the ones you love!”
