Thomas A. Monachino Jr.
Tom was called home to be with our heavenly Father, Feb. 7, 2013.
Born April 3, 1962 in Batavia N.Y., Tom was a very loving and giving man. He was an avid sports fan and movie buff. Tom had the ift to make everyone he knew smile and laugh and will be missed by many. Tom moved to Ohio as a young boy. He graduated from Harvey High School and attended Ohio University and the University of Akron. In the past he worked at the Akron Beacon Journal and was currently employed by Progressive Insurance.
Preceded in death by his son, Tre and his mother, Joan Monachino; he is survived by the love of his life his wife, Jennifer; son, Andrew; father, Tom (Colleen); sister, Joan (Steven) Esterhay; nephew, Eddie Esterhay; step siblings, Kristy (Dennis) Merril, Earl (Wendy) Lyons, Scott (Lisa) Richmond, and Emily Richmond; in-laws, David and Debra Keyser; brothers-in-law, Bryan Keyser, Joseph (Elizabeth) Keyser and their children Logan, Nate and Gabe; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Thursday, (time to be announced) at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 44 University Ave., Akron 44308. Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
