Lousy winter? Snow sheet!
The Akron area had 69.5 inches of snow this winter (yeah, I know the calendar says it’s spring, but tell that to Mother Nature!).

That’s the 6th worse snowfall on record. 1977-78 piled up the most white crap, at 82 inches. And 1950-51, which brought 45.5 inches in one November week to the Fairmont, West Virginia area when I was a college freshman, hit the Akron area with 72.3 inches.

Other heavy snowfall winters: 1960-61, at 81.5 inches; 1962-63, at 75.2 inches; and 1974-75, at 72.7 inches.

And then there’s the constant cold. But don’t get me started on that.
