Do you know any of these?

Remember when they used to say “"Don'’t trust anyone over 30"? The Beacon Journal, to show it was cool, printed this ad I found in an old file folder. I do not know the date it ran, but I can identify a few of the youngsters (standing from right) Bill Hershey, Art Krummel, the late Ron Clark, Tom Suchan, unknown person, Bruce Larrick, another unknown, Lary Bloom and Kathy Lally. Behind Larrick is Chuck Ayers. Ted Schneider is second from left.

Jim Derendal is in the middle of the back row. To his immediate right could be Rich Zitrin.

Two other guesses: Between Bruce Larrick and Chuck Ayers might be Paul Grna. And the second woman seated from left looks to me like Charlene Nevada.

Hey, I didn't mean to delete my post. I just wondered what that funny looking thing was. Turned out it was a trash can!

Once again, I think the guy between Tom Suchan, who wears different colored shoes, and Bruce Larrick is Doug Oplinger, he of the John Deere persuasion.

Sorry about the delete.

What a trip this picture was! I got a note on it from Rich Zitrin. I know these people - second from left is Ted Schneider, next to him is myself - Sharon 'Farkle' (for the old-timers). I believe Mark Faris is behind me, and Joan Rice is next to me. Rich Zitrin is next to her. I believe Bill Chaney is next to Derendal, middle back, and it is Paul Grna behind Bruce Larrick, next to Chuck Ayers.
If I could see the picture more clearly, I could probably figure out most of the rest of them, too. I should dig out the old pictures from the "black hole" file I saved from the city desk back when they were remodeling, and post them. It was great.

I don't go by Farkle, not that I ever chose it, but it's amazing how often people still call me that when they see me out somewhere!

Wish I could see this better -- all the folks mentioned were there when I was and that could be me in the front row, but it's not clear enough to tell. Also, that might be Tom Marvin in the dark shirt and wide tie in the front row.

That is definitely Paul Grna ...everyone knows him in Akron ... and in Stockton CA, too... he's the best brother ever!
