Former BJ reporter Korte nails Sessions

Former BJ reporter Greg Korte, USA Today White House correspondent,  reports that Trump’s Attorney General, Jeff Sessions, met twice with the Russian ambassador during Trump’s Presidential campaign.

Sessions and Putin’s guy met at the Republican Convention in Cleveland and in Sessions’ office.

Senators often meet with foreign ambassadors, but Sessions said at his Senate hearing that he didn’t have meetings with the Russians, who tried to damage Hillary Clinton’s campaign, which didn’t hurt Trump’s chances with the American electorate.
Did Russian hacking affect the outcome of the U.S. presidential election?

Later, Greg added this information:

“I was at the Lorain Morning Journal when Mizell Stewart III hired me for the Stark County Bureau in 1997. I spent about a year there and then moved to the Akron City Hall beat.

“I didn't want to leave, but there were buyouts/layoffs and I was low enough on the seniority chart that I fled to the Cincinnati Enquirer in 2001.
