America’s worst jobs: Newspaper reporter

Being a newspaper reporter, where poor job prospects, low pay and layoffs have plagued the industry for years, is one of the worst jobs in today’s America, according to CareerCast.com.

It ranks below taxi driver – those guys who earn a pittance but get robbed and killed too often – but ahead of firefighter, enlisted military soldier and corrections officer.
