Final misfire for ‘Car Talk's’ Tom Magliozzi 

National Public Radio “Car Talk” co-host Tom Magliozzi, 77, died Monday of complications from Alzheimer’s disease. 

Tom’s brother, Ray, co-hosted the NPR show that didn’t take itself seriously while dispensing advice to viewers who called in about their car problems.

The Magliozzi brothers grew up in a tough neighborhood of East Cambridge, Mass., in a close-knit Italian family and became MIT graduates.
