Former Beacon Journal reporter and editorial writer Sarah Vradenburg has written a book on Metro Parks titled Steps in Time: Ninety Years of 
Metro Parks, Serving Summit County.Summit County’s park district is celebrating its 90th birthday with the new book that focuses on key figures from its past, including longtime director Harold Wagner and naturalist Bert Szabo.
Vradenburg will be at Seiberling Nature Realm, 1828 Smith Rd,, from 1 to 4 p.m. today for a book signing.
The 146-page book is published by Ringtaw Books/University of Akron Press and costs $19.95
