Thee was a birthday greeting for Howard Wood on page E7 of the premier section of the Beacon Journal on Sunday. Wood worked in the maintenance department. Here is the notice:
Howard Wood will have his 87th birthday on January 27, 2008. He is retired from Loomis Electric and the Akron Beacon Journal.
He cherishes the memory of his wife, Pauline Wood who passed in 2004. He is a resident at Rockynol Towers.
His children are Tom and Lin Wood of Chardon, Ohio, Linda Beckwith of Fairlawn and Barb Wilmoth of Norton. He has seven grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.
He also mourns the loss of his son-in-law, Christian Wilmoth in 2004.
