Fewer Americans believe media reporting

FAIRFIELD, Conn.—A Sacred Heart University Poll found significantly declining percentages of Americans saying they believe all or most of media news reporting. In the current national poll, just 19.6% of those surveyed could say they believe all or most news media reporting. This is down from 27.4% in 2003. Just under one-quarter, 23.9%, in 2007 said they believe little or none of reporting while 55.3% suggested they believe some media news reporting.

This poll reports Americans believe Fox News is the most believable. I cannot believe it. Fox, to me, seems to be about 90 percent something other than news and also more biased than other media.

The most laughable slogan among cable TV news channels is the one that Fox uses: "Fair and balanced."

If you're a George Bush fundamentalist right-winger, then you would believe that.

It got so bad that I only go there often enough to see if they're still a shill for the Republicans. After all, Rupert Murdoch is no John S. Knight.
