PD to cut 58 of 168 newsroom jobs

The Plain Dealer will eliminate 58 of 168 newsroom jobs, says Northeast Ohio Newspaper Guild chairman Harlan Spector, after the current contract prohibiting layoffs expires Jan. 31.
