Giffels takes leave to write memoir


Beacon Journal columnist David Giffels announced today that he is taking a leave of absence to write his memoir. The book is being publlished by William Morrow/HarperCollins and is scheduled for release in spring 2008.

Why in the hell would I want to read Giffels memoir. His column was bad enough.

Yeah, I second Roese's comment. Hell, I'd be more inclined to read Don's memoirs.

Let's hope the two previous comments were in jest! Would you believe I enjoy Giffels so much I file him in my computer along wilh Pluto, Cardwell and others. Give the guy some credit.

Gotta agree with the last post. Giffels is not only a wonderful writer, he's one of the hardest working journalists around. His book sold to a top NYC publisher. That speaks volumes for his abilities.
