John Glenn, the
first American to orbit the Earth in 1962, has passed away in Columbus at the
age of 95.
He returned to space
in 1998 aboard Space Shuttle Discovery.
Glenn was in the U.S. Senate from 1972 to 1998 and ran for President
in 1984.
