Fraze completes seventh crime novel


Final Sale is the seventh in a series of crime novels featuring Jo Ferris by Ohio author Kathleen M. Fraze.

Mary Breckenridge has waited years for justice. But her time is running out. Alzheimer’s is stalking her. To give the old
woman a bit of peace, police Detective Jo Ferris promises to reopen a very cold case and search for the person who executed Mary’s son in a gas station robbery 20 years before. But flushing out a killer comes with a high price for Mary and Jo.

Fraze  retired September 28 from the Beacon Journal, where she worked since 1973.Fraze  started out as a reporter in Medina County, and moved up the reporting and editing ranks to the job from which she retired: copy desk chief. After 45 years in the business,Fraze decided it was time to retire.  Fraze was a part-time Kent State University instructor for ten years (1990 – 2000) She  taught introduction editing classes during most of the 1990s.
