| Mary and Regina Brett |
Mary Brett, who included two-time Pulitzer finalist PD and former
BJ columnist Regina Brett among her 11 children, passed away on Sunday,
November 6.
Kent State graduate Regina came to the BJ from the Lorain Journal. She
was inducted into the Cleveland Press Club of Hall of Fame in
2009.
In 2005, PD’s Connie Schultz won the Pulitzer in commentary that
barely eluded Regina.
