bureau report Columbus bureau chief Bill Hershey has a new book, “Taking the
Plunge into Ethiopia: Tales of a Peace Corps Volunteer,” which will be released
in a few weeks.
Bill was with
the Peace Corps in Ethiopia (1968-1970). He taught English to 7th
and 8th grade students in a small town and tried to communicate in
Amharic language.
3 of the
articles in book were in the Sunday Beacon Magazine when Bill Bierman and Ann
Sheldon Mezger were in charge of the magazine.
