Former BJ librarian Sandy Bee Lynn was elected to the Doylestown
Charter Commission on Tuesday.
She finished 10th. The top 15 will be on the Charter
Commission that will draft a charter form of government over the next year and
submit it to voters for approval. There were 18 candidates.
“Kinda cool seeing your name on the ballot,” Sandy posted. “Yea!”
Sandy plays viola in Cuyahoga Falls’ New Horizons Band. She has
been married for 32 years to Glenn Lynn. They met at a summer meeting of a ski club that
traveled to Port Clinton. Glenn once played saxaphone
in the New Horizons Band, directed by Jim Adkins.
After the BJ, Sandy worked at Orrville and Wadsworth public
libraries.
Henry, who
parachuted into France on D-Day, and Arline Mitchell Fuller had three children:
Sandy Louise, Ron and Timothy. Ron lives in Barberton with wife Mary Clark
Fuller. Tim lives in Akron.
