Tiffany McDaniel's
"Betty" won Ohioana’s 5th annual Readers' Choice Book Award.
"Betty" got
the most votes in fiction as well as the most overall votes of the more than
3,000 cast online, making Tiffany the first two-time winner of the Readers'
Choice Book Award!
Fan favorites in each
of the other five award categories included former BJ columnist Thrity Umbrigar
for her book for juveniles, “ Sugar in Milk.”

80th anniversary of the Ohioana Book Awards, and will be presented Thursday,
October 14, from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Ohio Statehouse Atrium.
