Michelle LeComte’s mom passes away

The mother of the late BJ Features Desk editor Michelle LeComte passed away Sunday, February 25 at Georgetown University Hospital.

Her name is Marie Antoinette “Mimi” Mackall LeComte. She was 91 and lived in Frederick, Maryland.
 
Michelle passed away in 2010 after being at Ol’ Blue Walls in the 1990s and at Maryland newspapers for decades.

Marie Antoinette “Mimi” Mackall LeComte of Frederick, Maryland, passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, February 25, 2018, at Georgetown University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Mimi was born to Colin Mackall and Marie DeMarsan on May 23, 1926, in Washington D.C.


Mimi journeys to Heaven to join her daughter Michelle LeComte.


Her children and their families will lovingly remember her. Her daughter Nikki LeComte and grandson Kevin Saiko, with whom she shared a home. Her son Michael LeComte, wife Kathy and family; grandson Robert Phillips, wife Carey and great-granddaughters Cameron and Abigail; granddaughter Laura Wolfensberger, husband John and great-grandsons Trent and Zac.ir families will lovingly remember her: Her daughter Nikki LeComte and grandson Kevin Saiko, with whom she shared a home. Mimi cherished her family, adored her great grandchildren and was fond of her dogs. She had a gentle soul, kind heart, a sharp wit and friendly nature. She will be dearly missed by her family.
