John Anspach’s wife passes away
Carol Anspach, wife of long-time Cuyahoga Falls High baseball coach
and current Cuyahoga Falls Amateur Association coordinator John Anspach, passed
away Tuesday, March 7.
As a Class G manager and CFABA board member because I was Class H
president for more than a decade, I spent a lot of time working with John, who
often would assign children with difficulties to my team because he knew I would
try to help them.
This was in the days when Glen Winsett and Al Coy were the “founding
fathers” of the organization.
Carol and John’s son, David, played baseball on another team when I
managed the Cougars and later Cameros in the Class G league for 11 and 12 year
olds.
