Former BJ columnist Stuart Warner was named editor-in-chief of the weekly Phoenix
New Times in Arizona.
Stuart has been with the Arizona Republic for four years, where he is
senior content coach, which sounds a lot like his BJ role of teaching less
experienced writers how to write.
He will begin January 23.
Stuart didn’t say which hat he would be wearing at the New Times, and I’m
not talking about his position.
Stuart and wife Debbie Van Tassel left Cleveland for Arizona in 2013. Deb is listed as "planner for A1, Valley & State In-Depth and Business" at the Arizona Republic. They have three children.
