Sheryl Harris named to Cuyahoga’s Consumer Affairs department
PD and former BJ consumer affairs
reporter Sheryl Harris has been appointed director of Cuyahoga County's Department of Consumer Affairs
for $85,000 a year. The appointment by county Executive Armond Budish must
go before County Council for a confirmation hearing, but that shouldn’t be a
problem.
The department was created in
2012. Sheryl will succeed the first director, Cynthia Cich.
Sheryl is married to cartoonist John Backderf.
