Newspapers lose confidence of readers
As if losing advertising dollars to the Internet isn’t bad enough,
now newspapers have lost the confidence of their readers.
A Gallup poll shows only 36%
believe newspapers get the facts straight, down from 54% in 1989.
23% find factual
errors in the news stories of their daily paper at least once a week. 35% see spelling or grammar mistakes more than
once a week.
