Thrity sets fire to Thrity

Former BJ writer Thrity Umrigar observed the first anniversary of her father’s passing with prayers and lit candles and wound up at the doctor’s office with burns on her arm.

Explains Thrity:

“I went to the kitchen to throw away the match, felt a little heat in my arm, looked and saw that my shirt sleeve was blazing. Luckily I was close to the kitchen faucet.

“Long story short, second-degree burns, a trip to the doctor (who fit me in to spare a trip to the ER), some very ugly nasty blisters, a new dressing daily and got to watch to make sure it doesn't get infected. “
