MORE Grammys for Black Keys?

If this keeps up, retired BJ reporter Jim Carney’s son may have to build a wing onto his Nashville home to house all the Black Keys awards.

Patrick Carney, Jim’s son, and his former Firestone High School co-noisemaker, Dan Auerbach, aka The Black Keys, have 2014 Grammy nominations for best rock song (“Fever”), best rock album (“Turn Blue”) and best rock performance (“Fever”).

They already have seven Grammys in the house.

Somebody named Beyonce and Sam Smith are up for 5 Grammys apiece.

The Grammy Awards will air live Feb. 8 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
