Writes Connie:
“Carol and her hubby picked it up on Nov. 24. My
studio looks so empty without it. Meanwhile, I have ordered more of that
exquisite hand dye from Judy Robertson, my secret Hand Dye Fairy, so that I can
make another similar work of art for my own home -- or somebody else's.”
“New Day Cleveland” on WJW-Channel 8 did a story on
Connie's quilt art including the completion of Magic Realism II, which had been
on view at an Art Walk at Summit Artspace, 140 E. Market Street, downtown
Akron.
In 2013 Connie won
first place for non-functional work at the Peninsula Fabric Art Show with
fabric art of her dog, Lily.
