Former Beacon Journal reporter John Dunphy had a PET (positron emission
tomography) scan today, which uses a radioactive substance to look for disease
in the body. He will have a brain MRI on Sunday.
John will review the results with his oncologist Monday.
Says John on his Facebook page: “We’re off and running folks!”
John and wife Rebecca Allen live in Lakewood,
California.
He was laid off from the Orange County Register in
California earlier this year. John also worked
for newspapers in Kansas City, Detroit and Seattle. He is one
of nine children of the late Angela and Harry Dunphy of Cincinnati.
