Weekend visitors to the Beacon Journal no longer will be greeted by Robert N. "Bob" Reese, a fixture at the lobby security desk for 11 years. Reese has accepted a new assignment with Atlantis Security and will work Saturdays at the former O'Neil's Building at 222 Main St., and Sundays at the National City Building, 1 Cascade Plaza."I have great memories of the Beacon Journal and always will. I loved that place," said Reese, pictured here at the Main Branch of the Akron-Summit County Public Library, where he also once worked.
