Mike Needs working for Forest Service
Mike Needs was asked for an update. Here is his reply:
I am working as an interpretive specialist for the U.S. Forest Service, living at an elevation of 8,000 feet near Bear Valley, CA in the high Sierra Nevada. I produce / organize programs for an outdoor amphitheater that serves a group of campgrounds in the Stanislaus National Forest. I also lead hikes and do presentations throughout the area. It's a great job. I love it out here. Say hi to all my good friends.
Sounds great, Mike. A lot better than some damn news room. Say Hi to the birds and bears for me. Take care ......

I'm so glad you have landed somewhere good.
ReplyDeleteI thought you were one of the best ombudsmen in journalism, and I was beyond furious when the Beacon let you go.
