Chiffon Staebler, a former BJ copy editor caught by the staff cuts, is now working
on a master's thesis and needs some help.
Do any of our retirees or others know the size of the newspaper in 1973 and 1975?
(How many inches wide and how many inches deep?)
Chiffon is finishing up her master's thesis and needs the dimensions of the paper
from 1973-1975. The size of the newspaper has changed over the years. She needs
the dimensions to determine the newshole.
Does anyone recall any information on changes in newspaper size?

Wouldn't changes in type size also affect the newshole? At least, smaller type would mean more words for the news side. Of course, today's larger photos/graphics means a smaller words hole.
