Guregian accepts job with Cleveland orchestra
Friday will be music critic Elaine Guregain's last working day at the Beacon Journal.
Guregian has accepted a position as communications manager for the Cleveland Orchestra beginning October 31. Her position is a newly-created one for the orchestra.
Guregian has been an employe of the Beacon Journal for 18 years. Her first day at the BJ was March 19, 1990

Good for you, Elaine. The Beacon's loss is the orchestra's gain, and I can't think of anyone more qualified for the position.

Elaine's job should be easier now that the chief orchestra critic from the PD has been silenced.
It will be more difficult because the BJ probably won't replace her, so there won't be anyone to write anything about the orchestra.
